LucaNet SmartNotes can easily be connected to any ERP or financial consolidation system and provides a wide range of standard interfaces.
After a data import, LucaNet SmartNotes automatically shows you which chapter was affected by the data import and highlights every number that has changed within the report. So even last-minute changes are easy to implement and additional validation rules can easily be included and support the creation process.
LucaNet SmartNotes automatically takes care of the data consistency within a report and between every language version, the report is created in. The real Roll-Forward functionality creates a new document that can directly be used for the next publishing period. No more manual adjustments are needed.
Individual document workflows can be created including four or six-eye principles. They can be combined with a detailed user rights and roll concept.
All changes and updates are included in a Full Audit Trail, additional reports provide general and detailed information about LucaNet SmartNotes, the documents, and their contents.
Through the integrated change history functionality, the solution provides absolute transparency and traceability of report changes and audit security. The values entered in the system, manual rounding adjustments, created tags, and texts are saved and can be used in the preparation of subsequent reports.
LucaNet SmartNotes saves costs when preparing annual financial statements using external contractors, minimizes the possibility of errors, and saves valuable time by automating the processes of verification, transfer, and reflection of changes in the reports.
LucaNet SmartNotes comes with a generic XBRL processor that can handle any XBRL-based taxonomy. The embedded XBRL Tagger module can be used independently, for the preparation of annual consolidated reports in (i)XBRL formats according to the requirements of European Securities Markets and Authority (ESMA) for presenting reports in European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). Both systems have been developed by the German software company AMANA.

According to the introduced European single electronic format (ESEF) for reports, as of 01.01.2020, the annual financial statements of issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market must be prepared and presented in XHTML format. If the annual financial statements contain consolidated financial statements, they must be integrated into the HTML documents using the XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) marking language.
