Balkan Services successfully completed a SAF-T submission to the National Revenue Agency for one of its clients via Oracle NetSuite, using the company's NetSuite SAF-T module.

The file contained complete real data. It was submitted on time and accepted without errors. This marks a significant milestone for the practical implementation of the new regulatory requirements.
As of January 1, 2026, approximately 460 of the largest companies in Bulgaria are now required to submit a monthly SAF-T file to the National Revenue Agency (NRA).

The new requirement is technically complex, especially for companies with international ERP systems that lack ready-made local integration.

SAF-T Reporting and the Role of ERP Integration

SAF-T requires the submission of detailed accounting and transaction data in a strictly structured format, extracted directly from ERP systems. The process is a technological challenge that demands expert preparation and precise software integration to meet the revenue agency’s requirements.

“The successful SAF-T submission with the client’s actual data, and its error-free acceptance by the National Revenue Agency, proves that proper ERP integration is key to complying with the new regulatory requirements,” said Mariana Koleva, Head of NetSuite ERP and Partner at Balkan Services.

NetSuite SAF-T Module and Actual Submission

With the SAF-T module in Oracle NetSuite, Balkan Services automates data extraction and creates an XML file. The file complies with SAF-T structure and is ready for submission to the National Revenue Agency.

Expertise for various companies and ERP solutions

Balkan Services supports not only its Oracle NetSuite clients but also companies with other ERP systems and those with more complex IT environments. We offer adaptation and enhancement of systems such as Atlantis ERP and SoftOne, as well as third-party solutions for SAF-T data consolidation. This demonstrates the company’s expertise in helping a wide range of organisations achieve full compliance with NRA requirements.
The SAF-T file submitted demonstrates how proper ERP integration and our expertise help clients meet NRA requirements on time and accurately. This proves companies can adapt ERP systems to the new SAF-T rules and make reliable monthly submissions without more adjustments or manual work.
