The biggest Bulgarian manufacturer of electric boilers and residential heating appliances, Tesy, has implemented a Business Intelligence (BI) system, which facilitates management decision-making. Thanks to the BI app, time for report and analysis preparation is reduced and there is an opportunity for graphical data visualization in order to simplify presentation and understanding. The system provides reliable information consolidated from multiple sources by enabling quick and precise historical data comparisons and offering a flexible ad hoc analysis creation tool. The project was realized using the BI app QlikView, because of its flexible capabilities, and Tesy was partnering with Balkan Services consulting company.

"Our partner of choice was the Balkan Services’ consulting team because of their vast experience in sales process data analysis, as well as in the implementation process itself", said Byulent Yusmen, IT Manager at Tesy.

Before the BI system implementation, reports and analyses necessary for the management body were prepared through data extract from the SAP BW Data Warehouse system into Excel and then after manual processing performed by key persons at the company they were sent to the end users (management, financial department, sales department, etc.). After the project realization, the necessary reports are available every morning before start of business day. There is also an additional option to prepare real-time analyses.

According to Byulent Yusmen "communication is a key factor for projects that require team work, in this particular case the team had three parties. Within the project, a three-sided partnership was built between us, the team at Tesy and the Data Warehouse system implementer, through which we were able to successfully complete the implementation".
